Ever do anything you didn't want to only to regret it hours later. That's where I am as of this writing. What made me think I could actually do it, actually Moonwalk on air. I gave it a try as we were coming back from commercials this morning on NBC Action News Today. Skytracker was bumping in with a shot of the moon. Christa, Jeff, 5 AM show director Shane Givens, the rest of floor crew and the producers urged me to moonwalk over the skytrackers' shot of the moon. At first I said no, knowing how goofy I would look, how bad it would be, but then I lost my common sense.
So why did I do this? Have you heard of this website the Eternal Moonwalk? In an attempt to bottle the horrid embarrassment of true Michael Jackson fans everywhere, the fellas over at Studio Brussels have created a website called Eternal Moonwalk. It consists of a database chock-full of moonwalking attempt videos, submitted by users, that all link together to form a never ending Michal Jackson tribute of funk.
