This weather is amazing. It is making for some great golf weather and this has been the week of charity golf tournaments.
For instance, yesterday I took part in the Kansas City Kansas School Foundation for Excellence Scholarship Golf Tournament. 144-golfers played at Sunflower Hills in Bonner Springs. Its a long course, with just a few holes where water really comes into play.
The Kansas City Kansas School Foundation for Excellence gives out scholarships every year to deserving KC-K high school seniors who will be going on to college in the Fall.
This year, with the help of the golf tournament and other private donations, the Foundation was able to award 31 scholarships worth three-thousand dollars a piece.
On Wednesday's Midday News, I was having trouble sinking practice putts on the putting green so I got some help. Watch in the media player on the right as 10-year old Jasmine schools me in the finer points of putting.
On Friday, I am playing again. This time its a benefit for Calvary Bible College at Eagles Landing golf course. I see if I can improve my putting.
