As many of you know, I have been training for BikeMS this summer. I plan on riding 100 miles during the event scheduled September 26th. Fifty miles from KC to Sedalia and back in one day!
Friday, August 21st I will ride to work during NBC Action News from 5-7am to raise awareness of MS. Just 17 miles from the suburbs to East of the Plaza with a few friends. It is going to be a fun way to spend my on-air time!
If you see our group, give us a wave, a honk or a thumbs up. If you want you can follow the route by watching NBC Action News.
If you wish to participate, be at the Overland Park
BikeSource store at 135th & Quivira at 4:40 am! We'll leave shortly after 5 o'clock and arrive at the studio at 4720 Oak in Kansas City just before 7am. This is a one-way ride, so make travel arrangement back to BikeSource, or finish the loop for a 34 mile ride!
