Drop the Anchor. The anchor is Jeff Vaughn. The reason: To raise money for MS.
Friday, September 18th from 5-9am, Vaughn will be in the dunk tank at the NBC Action News studio. He's raising money for multiple sclerosis.

All you need to Drop the Anchor is cash or check and your best toss. Give a donation in the amount of your choice to MS, and you'll get three chances to Drop the Anchor.

Jeff's connection to MS is through his mother-in-law, who was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS in 1991. More than 6,000 people are affected by MS in the Kansas City Metro. The Mid-America MS chapter will use funds collected from Drop The Anchor to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today.
