MISSION HILLS - Kate McKay is getting ready for her second green fashion show. She will show off her recycled clothing line at the Uptown Theater.
All of the money she is raising will go to Bridging the Gap, an environmental group in the Metro.
McKay buys old clothes, curtains, and even table cloths at thrift shops. She then turns them into her own style. She believes her fashions represent the idea.
"You don't have to compromise fashion to compromise the environmentally friendly as well as stylish".
Kate raised $5,000 for Bridging the Gap last year.
