LENEXA, Kan. - Maybe you've seen them, rain barrels on parade.
There are 19 environmentally friendly plastic rain barrels on display around the city of Lenexa. Each is painted by a local artist.
The city sees the Rain Barrel Parade as an attractive way to educate people about storm water use.
Which one do you like best? You have until July 24 to vote in an online poll. The winner will be given away in a drawing at Lenexa’s annual water festival, Waterfest.
The remaining barrels will be auctioned off on eBay. Proceeds will go to Lenexa’s Rain to Recreation program.
