Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, Kansas announced Thursday it is the only national hotel chain to be Green Seal certified. The Green Seal certification is offered to properties that demonstrate sustainable practices.
Great Wolf Lodge achieved the Green Seal status by making the hotel and water park more environmentally friendly.
Among the improvements: wa
ter reclamation, waste minimization, energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive purchasing.
Great Wolf Lodge also developed a guest education program to ensure guests understand their mission.
