One last comment in response to the person who said to be wary of online coupons. As long as you are using reputable sites like coupons.com or a major manufacturers direct website to print coupons then you really don't have anything to worry about. Though I will admit I do tend to give them an old phone number we don't use anymore and an e-mail address that I've set up just for giving out to sites like these so I don't risk getting my main e-mail account flooded with spam or my phones with telemarketers.

Those were just two of many ideas I have gotten by reading online coupon blogs. Why waste my time reading/cutting and matching coupons when others out there are already doing most of the work for me. Leaving me free to keep my day job and still save while I shop. Being that I do work full time I tend to use these tips to get nearly all of my non-perishable goods and toiletry items for pennies on the dollar if not free. I save so much per year doing this that I rarely bother with trying to use coupons on the perishable groceries I buy. Though I do try to buy Roberts milk at HenHouse where they will double the frequent .50/coupons in the Sunday papers for Roberts. And I have had found some wonderful deals like the near free apples at Target right now and some near free lettuce, potatoes and even Roast meat they had some weeks back after in store coupons. I just don't rely on those deals for my daily shopping.

WALMART too many deals to list but here are just a couple. . . Kraft Barbeque Sauce on sale for 99 cents less the $1/1 coupon from coupons.com = FREE . . . Kelloggs Cereals price matched with HyVee for 1.58/box (thru Teusday) less $1/1 coupon from Kelloggs.com = 0.58/box! Glucerna Cereal for Diabetics in the pharmacy aisle is 3.94, I know you probably don't need or want this but follow me for a minute. As Chrissy mentioned there is a $5 coupon for this cereal that you can print two of from Glucerna's website. So for every box you buy at Walmart the will apply the 1.06 overage towards the rest of your groceries. . . Sample Scenario - 2 box Glucerna 3.94/ea + 2 bottles Kraft BBQ Sauce 0.99/ea + 4 boxes of Kelloggs Cereals 1.58/ea(After Requested Price Match with HyVee ad) = 16.18 - (2) $5/1 Glucerna Printable Coupons - (2) $1/1 Kraft BBQ Sauce Coupons - (4) $1/1 Cereal Coupons = $0.18 after all coupons. I REPEAT ONLY 18-CENTS!!!! for 4-boxes of Kelloggs, 2-jars BBQ Sauce and 2 boxes of Glucerna cereal for diabetics that if you are not diabetic like me you could turn around and donate to charity like I will.

Kraft Salad Dressing 1.58 each buy 2 and use $1/2 Target store coupon along with 2 $1/1 coupons found on coupons.com = 0.08 per bottle.

Coupon Chrissy's tips are spot on however, there are a few tips/tricks for doing nearly as well with less time and effort involved. Chrissy was shown browsing the weekly store ads and cutting the Sunday coupons into a coupon binder. I am a working mother with not one but two jobs and would never have the time or desire to go through all that effort. However, I have found that there are many women like her that not only have the time to read through all the weekly sales and match them up with available coupons, but they also write online blogs about what they have found and where to go to get the best deals. These are totally free sites with no sign-up required. Some of the posts maybe about what they baked over the weekend or what they did with a free sack of fruit from a neighbor but the vast majority of the posts are specific breakdowns of the best deals at various stores each week. They are so detailed they will list each item, its sales price, the available coupon AND WHERE TO FIND IT, and the final price after all discounts which is often times free. By using the tips from these blogs I don't need to scour the ads or clip tons of coupons I may never use. Instead I just write the date on the front cover of the coupon inserts then sit back and wait for them to write a post telling me which coupons I should go back and cut from which weeks inserts to get the best deals each week.

I admire people who can do this. It's just amazing! However, don't go crazy online - if a site asks for your address and phone number, rethink it. We just were "crammed" by a coupon site who also sold our name to a fraud "business" and charged us with $30 of extra services to our phone bill. I know - from saving money on groceries to a telephone scam. Amazing what people will do.
