KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A new exercise is unlocking some of the mysteries of living with dementia.
A national foundation brought a virtual dementia tour to a Kansas City Clinical Research office. The target audience of the tour is caregivers.
Judy Hill who is the Senior Living Activities Director at Kingswood Senior Living took part.
"We never know just what they're having to go through. What they're hearing, what there seeing. The pain they might be experiencing. That can change your whole mood, your whole outlook for the day", says Hill.
The response to the virtual tour was so overwhelming; some had to be turned away. The group is now planning to do it again sometime next year.
