The Produce for Better Health Foundation has a new catalog listing teaching materials designed to educate people of all ages about fruits and vegetables.
The 2009 catalogs are available in the English and Spanish language.
One of the items is called, “The Fruits & Veggies Produce Wheel.”
There’s also a, “More Matters Guide.”
Parents and educators will find inexpensive games with fruit and vegetable themes and toys to help children learn about fruits and vegetables and demonstrate that eating them can be fun.
There are also online activities to educate children about the value of eating produce.
