Leavenworth Safe Trick-or-Treat - Oct. 31

7-8 p.m., Halloween Night, Saturday, Oct. 31

University of Saint Mary is happy to offer Trick or Treat off the Streets, a warm, safe, alternative trick-or-treat experience for pint-sized ghosts, ghouls, and witches from 7-8 p.m. on Halloween Night in USMs two campus residence halls.

The Trick or Treat off the Streets program is free and open to the public and is a Leavenworth-Lansing area Halloween favorite on USMs Leavenworth campus, 4100 South 4th Street.

In previous years, as many as 200 local children and families trick-or-treated around USMs dorms. Call (913) 758-6120 for more information.

Children and parents are free to roam in costume through the second, third, fourth, and fifth floors of Maria Hall as well as the first, second, and third floors of the universitys brand new apartment-style residence hall, Berkel Hall. Both dorms are located on the north side of USMs campus.

USM students will be in costume and ready to distribute treats to avid trick-or-treaters. Parents or legal guardians must accompany children at the event, and all participants must provide their own bags for carrying candy.

Interested in donating candy to the event? USM will accept donations up until Halloween day. Company or individual donations are welcome. Call (913) 758-6120 to make a donation.

Trick or Treat off the Streets is sponsored by the University of Saint Mary Student Government Association in conjunction with the USM student life department. Parking is limited, so please come early.
