OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Children in need can get free dental care Thursday and Friday from 8am - 5pm in Overland Park. The clinic, traveling across the country, travels in two 53-foot trailers fully equipped for local dentists to use.
The clinic will be held at YRC Worldwide Headquarters on 10990 Roe Avenue in Overland Park, Kansas.
Christina's Smile Children's Dental Clinic is entering their 20th year. Organization officials say they provide free dental care to children across the country who might go without treatment because of cost.
Local dentists will give care to local children. Those children are chosen by charitable organizations. This year, twenty one clinics will be conducted to treat more than 2,400 children and provide more than $1.5 million worth of dental care to needy kids.
