CLAYCOMO, Mo. - To strike or not to strike.  That will be the question on the minds of Ford Claycomo workers Saturday.

Day 2 of the strike vote is set for 4:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the UAW Local 249 Union across from the Ford plant.

Day 1 of the strike vote was held on Thursday from 4:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The main issue for workers is workload.  Some say they are doing the job of two if not three people and it's taking a toll on their physical and mental health.   Veterans say morale is the worst it's been in decades.

But Jeff Wright, the President of the UAW Local 249, says the workload issue comes up every year and so does the strike vote.  He expects the strike to pass but he doesn't think a strike will actually happen at the end of the day.  He said if you look at history, the plant hasn't halted work since 1976.

Ford executives and national union leaders are meeting in Kansas City to discuss workload and productivity issues.  Wright and a Ford Spokesperson believes a deal will be reached to avert a strike.
