OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Do you have some spare canned soup lying around? It could get you a free piece of cheesecake.
Feeding America and The Cheesecake Factory are teaming up to “Drive Out Hunger.” Their mission is to collect 100,000 cans of soup for local food banks. It's part of a 30 day tour in 30 cities. On Friday Harvesters, the Community Food Network will be collecting cans of soup from 7-10 a.m.
The first 500 people to donate two cans of soup will be given a complimentary slice of the Cheesecake Factory’s new flavor, Stefanie’s Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake.
The Overland Park Cheesecake Factory is located at The Fountains Shopping Center, 6675 W. 119th St., Overland Park, 66209.
