Summer Concerts at Power & Light District

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Power and Light District announced its headliners Thursday for its summer concert series.

There will be something for ever music lover from jazz to country and rock.

Artists include the likes of Eve 6, Better Than Ezra, Days of The New and Blues Traveler.

On the country side Craig Morgan, Dierks Bentley, Keith Anderson and Joe Nichols will perform.

"It's all free, and most importantly, it's benefiting four charities. We hope to raise of $250,000 for charity this year," says Power and Light President John Stephens.

Charities include the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the American Diabetes Association.

Power and Light plans to raise the money through special VIP giveaways, autographed item auctions and text to donate events.

All money raised will stay in the Kansas City metro area.
