KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Several city pools are open free to the public from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

They are the Brush Creek, Grove, Budd Park and Swope pools. Regular admission is $2 at other times.

The free hours are all summer, not just on hot days.

Parks department officials point out that all spraygrounds are always free.

Most pools are closed on Mondays for cleaning.

The city used to open pools for free only on extremely hot days, but changed the policy because it was too confusing.
Mondays Are Better with Free Food
