KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A pair of Chiefs received pink slips on Monday. The team released linebackers Weston Dacus and Justin Rogers.

Dacus spent last season on the injured reserve. He played in eight games for the Chiefs in 2008 after joining the team as a rookie free agent out of Arkansas.

Rogers suited up in one contest for Kansas City last year. The former SMU star played in 31 games with Dallas from 2007-08 before becoming a Chief.

Kansas City is prepping for the NFL Scouting Combine.  It will start Feb. 24 in Indianapolis.
