KANSAS CITY - Foreclosures are at an all time high and the problem is forecasted to grow worse. We want to help our community connect the people in need with the experts who can help.

Certified foreclosure experts will be standing live by the phones at NBC Action News studios, Monday, September 14th, starting at 6am to take your calls.

These experts will act as doctors in an emergency triage center.  With each call that comes in, they will ask a few questions to assess your immediate needs and learn where you live.  That information helps them to connect you with the expert assigned to your lender and your area.

This will be a day long call-in with live phone banks operating during each NBC Action News broadcast. The phone lines will open during the times below.

Phone Bank Opens Monday, September 14th:
NBC Action News Today at 6am -9am
NBC Action News at Midday - 11am to 12 noon
NBC Action News at Five - 5pm to 5:30pm
NBC Action News at Six - 6pm to 6:30pm
NBC Action News at Ten - 10pm to 10:30pm

Watch Monday, September 14th for the number to call to get help.

If you need help now, call the United Way help line at 211.  They can link you to a counselor.
