I want to applaud the station for going after this story. Even though it was an obvious scam, the Franklin auto empire spends tons of $ on tv advertising. You guys bucked the system and all those advertising dollars to get to the truth and stand up for what's right. Kudos! & Thank you! Way to go KSHB!

I agree Franklin is a sucker but so are the 600 plus customers that fell for his "big deal." How could anyone really believe that they could get a car for $49 a month for life. I realize the Kansas AG is now having to step up and take action against the company however they still would have if even 1 customer would have been taken advantage of. Plus they have the false advertising to go with so no cutomers really had to ever sign up for the "great deal" and the AG could have done just as much to Franklin Auto.

The old saying "theirs a new sucker coming through the door every minute" came to mind the very first time I saw this ad on tv. My daughter tried to get me to go to Franklin for a car and I told her no way was this thing for real. I am sorry for these people but also sorry that they fell for such a scam. Franklin should but won't do time in jail.

If it's to good to be true, then it isn't true. I saw the ad's on TV and knew it was a scam or there had to be a catch. Hope the KS AG fries all those crokks at C. Franklin, including Chad himself. They all need to spend time in prison plus honor the contracts they duped people into.

I don't understand why anyone would believe a deal like that. How would you think you could drive a car for free for life? Only makes sense that it was a scam, are people really that stupid?
