Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Kansas or Missouri who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company d/b/a NBC Action News/KSHB-TV, Robert’s Dairy, or employees of their respective affiliates, advertising, or promotion, security, cleaning, and other leased employee agencies and their immediate families or persons residing in the same household of each are not eligible.
How to Enter: Promotion begins at 10:00am CT Friday, January 18, 2007 and ends at 10:00am CT Friday, November 28, 2008 ("Sweepstakes Period"). There are two (2) ways to submit photographs: (1) Send an email to midday@nbcactionnews.com with your name, address, phone number, birthday and new AGE – also don’t forget the photograph. (2) Or, you can enter the promotion by sending in a postcard with your name, address, phone number, birthday, new age and photograph to NBC Action News, Attention: Brett's Birthday Club, 4720 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO, 64112. Mail in entries must be postmarked and received by Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Individuals submitting photographs must be the owner of the photograph or, in the event the photograph is professional in nature and owned by the photographer, permission to use the photo and a reprint release must accompany the photograph at the time of submission.
Daily Drawing(s): Beginning Friday, January 18, 2008 watch Action News Midday weekdays from 11:00a.m. CT to 12:00p.m. CT for the daily drawing. "Daily" (weekdays) entries will be randomly selected from all eligible submissions by staff of KSHB-TV during each airing of Action News Midday during the Promotion. Daily selections will be notified with their name on their television screen. There is no need to call in, your entry will be forwarded to Robert’s Dairy (Sponsor).
Up to five (5) photo(s) will be drawn per day during the "Promotion Period". Odds of being selected are dependent upon number of eligible participants. Limit one entry per email address and/or household. No purchase is necessary to participate. Entrants are only eligible to win once and may only not be a winner of any other KSHB-TV promotions within the past 30 (thirty) days.
Daily Drawing: There will be up to five selected photos each weekday during the Promotion period. Each daily photo selection(s) will be forwarded to Robert’s Dairy (Sponsor).
Notification: Daily photo selections will be announced on Action News Midday. By entering the promotion, viewers agree to waive any and all claims against the Sponsors, and the affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them for personal injury or loss that may occur from the participation in this promotion or from the receipt or use of any prize, and grant to Sponsors and the right to publicize such winner’s name and/or likeness without additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions: Sponsors are not responsible for any telephone network or Internet service providers are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss of entry information for any reason whatsoever. If, in the Sponsor’s exclusive judgment, this promotion becomes compromised in any way, Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw the promotion offer, cancel any method of entry, void any entries submitted fraudulently, or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to the act that compromised the promotion. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or their agents. The judges reserve the right to verify eligibility qualifications of winners and to disqualify any individual they find to be acting in violation of the Official Rules.
