KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One person is dead after a shooting at East 33rd Street and Jackson Avenue in East Kansas City Tuesday evening.
Officers were called around 8 p.m. to the 3300 block of Jackson Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a black male in his 20’s, lying in the front yard of a house. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Witnesses said the victim and an elderly man, who police say may have lived with the victim at the home, were involved in an argument prior to the shooting.
