Would you find a Scion xB with a barbecue in the back useful? Or view multi-colored mood lighting inside a Ford Fusion as a must-have item? While these features are fun—and better suited for our “5 Car Technologies We Can Live Without” article—we’re talking about technologies we saw at the Los Angeles Auto Show that are big on function and cool on form.

2011 Toyota Sienna: Panorama Camera

Panorama isn’t a term reserved for big moon roofs anymore. The unveiling of the much sportier third-generation 2011 Toyota Sienna provides a glimpse of the all-new panorama rear camera. The monitor provides two views behind the vehicle with one including a 180-degree view and the other on-screen back-up support to help the driver reverse out of tricky parking spots or driveways. Backing up has never been easier—or safer.

This Sienna will also offer second-row Lounge Seating (think Lazyboy recliner on wheels) and be available in February 2010.
