Wright City to Honor Slain Soldier

WRIGHT CITY, Mo. (AP) - Flags on state buildings in Warren County will fly at half-staff from Sunday through July 24 in honor of a soldier from Wright City who died last week in Iraq.

Pvt. First Class Lucas Bregg was 19. The Defense Department says he died July 8 in Baghdad of injuries suffered in a noncombat related incident.

Gov. Jay Nixon has also ordered flags on all state buildings to be at half-staff on Saturday.
