Tiger Seized in MO Raid Moved to Sanctuary

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A Bengal tiger has a new home in the Show Me State.

Sheena, the Bengal tiger was seized during a raid in Seneca last week.

On Wednesday, keepers from the Dickerson Park Zoo helped transport Sheena to the National Tiger Sanctuary in Bloomsdale.

Last week, authorities from the Humane Society of Missouri removed Sheena from J-B's Precious Puppies in Seneca along with 208 dogs and a house cat after reports of unsanitary conditions and neglect.

The operator denies allegations of abuse.
