The homeowner and his wife are under arrest accused of stealing more than one thousand pieces of luggage from Sky Harbor International Airport.
Some of the bags have been missing for several years.
Neighbors say the homeowner would leave at night with a horse trailer and return with it full of merchandise.
Keith King, 61, and Stacy Lynn Legg-King, 38, were arrested Monday, and each was booked into jail on charges of theft of property and possession of stolen property. Legg-King also was arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence. It was not immediately clear how the two are related.
