LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The death of the King of Pop sent his albums back to the top of the charts.
Within hours of Michael Jackson’s death online retailers reported an increase in sales of his music.
Amazon.com’s
list of best-selling music showed Jackson occupying the top 15 slots Friday morning.
The 25
th anniversary edition of the “Thriller” album was at number one, and other version were ranked 12, 13 and 14.
DVD collections of music videos and concerts also occupied the top five slots on Amazon.com’s
list of best-selling videos.
