WASHINGTON - The cost of health care is setting a new record.
For the first time, a survey says next year employers will pay more than $10,000 per worker to provide health care coverage.
A survey by Tower Perrin says that's a 7 percent jump over this year.
Costs are increasing for both workers and employers.
Employers pay most of the coverage cost, but workers can expect to pay 10% more for premiums, as well as higher co-pays.
There's also an affordability gap... as wages lag behind increases in health care costs.
