(UNDATED) - A good night's sleep might be an unexpected benefit of retirement.
Researchers in Finland studied 14,000 older adults and found they were much less likely to have sleep disturbances in the seven years after retirement than they were in the seven games before retiring.
The researchers say the study participants had good job security while they worked and received good pensions.
The sleep benefits might not be the same for people who are forced to retire or who do not have good pension plans.
