EXAMPLES OF DUTIES PERFORMED:
This list of duties is not exhaustive and duties may be added, deleted, or changed at any time, without notice.
Communicate daily with sales staff, agency personnel, and satellite server companies to collect copy instructions and tapes/spots to meet strict deadlines
Input copy instructions.
Produce daily logs including finalizing, printing and distributing reports and "pulling" any commercial tapes.
Manage tape library and perform purges.
Coordinate with sales managers, programming, public service, news, promotion and master control departments and enter pertinent data in traffic system.
Assist traffic and sales managers with inventory control including spot manipulation of future logs.
Act as back-up for KMCI and Weather-Plus channels.
Schedule commercials on KSHB and KMCI websites
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
Requirements:
EDUCATION - Require high school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE - Previous broadcast traffic experience preferred.
EQUIPMENT - Knowledge of traffic systems, particularly Wide Orbit, preferred. Computer experience required.
