KSHB-TV/KMCI-TV seeks an automotive specialist to manage Vehix sales in the Kansas City market. This is a great opportunity for a proven sales professional to represent Vehix - one of the fastest growing automotive sites on the web. The Automotive Sales Manager will be responsible for selling Vehix dealer listings and advertising to local car dealerships and dealer groups. Vehix and KSHB-TV /KMCI-TV are partnered in the Kansas City area. This position is an outside sales position and is based at KSHB-TV/KMCI-TV.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES PERFORMED:

1. Prospecting, selling and closing dealers.
2. Collaborate with KSHB-TV/KMCI-TV ad sales on strategy and targeting.
3. Build Vehix customer (dealer) base in Kansas City.
4. Perform other duties as needed and as directed by Sales Management.

Requirements:
EDUCATION - Four year degree or equivalent experience in related field.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum of two years experience presenting and selling directly to dealers. Applicants with solid media sales or internet product sales experience will also be considered.
LICENSE - Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Reliable transportation required.
SKILLS/ABILITIES - Proven track record in prospecting and closing business. Knowledge of retail auto industry. Knowledge of automotive internet products a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Impeccable time management and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
